Kosti, ani hydinové psíkovi nikdy nedávame! Môžu mu spôsobiť perforáciu žalúdka, črievka alebo poranenie konečníka. Maximálne mu môžete podať kĺbiky z kuracích kostí. Šteniatko potrebuje pre svoj vývoj aj vápnik, preto mu môžete dať napr. na raňajky na malé kúsky nakrájaný tvrdý syr alebo tvaroh so žĺtkom. Zvykajte šteniatko aj na surovú zeleninu a ovocie - mrkva, zemiak, kaleráb, petržlen /aj vňať/, jablko bez šupky, banán, broskyňa, melón a pod. Granule podávame l x denne. Odporúčam iba kvalitné značky granúl: Royal Canine, Eukanuba, Purina - do veku pol roka pod označením Puppy. Voda - dbajte na to, aby psík mal k dispozícii vždy čerstvú vodu !!! Dávkovanie stravy: Do veku 12 týždňov kŕmte 3 x denne malými dávkami. Od 12 do 16 týždňov kŕmte maximálne 2x denne veľmi malými dávkami. Neskôr 1x denne, najlepšie večer, príp. 2x denne malými dávkami.
